These islands won’t remember me. That’s fine; I never expected them to. Resort photography is a machine that doesn’t slow down for the people behind the camera. You create, you deliver, and then the next thing comes along. No one cares who took the shot as long as it looks good on the brochure.
Stepping onto CLUB MED Kani, I knew this island had its own rhythm one that I had to learn before I could capture it. This was the second chapter of These Islands Won’t Remember Me, a continuation of my time moving through the Maldivian resorts, camera in hand. CLUB MED Kani had a different pulse compared to the islands before it; an energy shaped by its all-inclusive spirit, its seamless fusion of cultures, and the ever-changing cast of travelers who made it their temporary home. This wasn’t just about photographing a place; it was about preserving fleeting moments, knowing they would be gone as soon as the tide pulled back.
